Description
Match the wooden blocks to the graded activity cards and create geometric pictures.
This Geometric puzzle will support the following outcomes:
- To learn to sort and match geometric shapes according to shape or colour.
- To develop visual differentiation – discerning details.
- To develop spatial perception – the location of a geometric shape within a 2-dimensional space.
- To develop cognitive perception – knowledge of how many geometric shapes make up a whole picture, the need for organisation and order in the process of creating a picture, including recognition and understanding of a “code” (a number inside the picture of a shape, denoting how many pieces of that shape are needed).
In this game, children develop the concepts of colour, shape and size and the relations between size and quantity, by making colourful pictures using the basic geometric shapes. The activity cards are of different levels of difficulty. Therefore it is important to work with the children, progressing from the easiest to the most difficult.
Perfect for classroom use group play can be incorporated.

Such a nice puzzle for my 2.5 year old. The wooden pieces are hard enough for her not to break/ tear them and she loves all the colours and pictures on them.

We hooked that ladder on a tree branch, and the kids really love playing on it.
