Melissa and Doug have done it again. This is one of my favourite “toys'' for toddlers. These brightly coloured, cardboard books have a dot on every page you poke. When you poke them, they make a satisfying popping sound- like you’re popping bubble wrap. But these beautiful books last a lot longer than bubble wrap and it’s very easy to pop.
There are a number of other books in the series which cater to the usual obsessions of toddlers.
Why we love these for traveling:
- It is an easy and entertaining book that your toddler can read through by him/herself.
- Finding and poking the dots as they page through the book also encourage individual finger use and pointing.
- Giving sensory feedback by making the popping sound is also somewhat satisfying, and a great cause-effect toy that keeps them engaged in the activity.

I bought this for my 8-month-old. The stepping stones are marketed toward children aged one year and up, but I grabbed them because they always seem out of stock—get it if you see it's available! It's a great addition to our toy set, and it offers endless opportunities for open-ended play. It's super sturdy for mum and dad to sit and stand on, too.
Our little one is 10 months old and this activity walker is the perfect toy for aiding in balance, confidence and heaps of fun. Not only is it great for engagement with all the various activities on the front but the walker itself is sturdy. The product is elegantly finished and beautiful to say the least. This is a highly recommended product.

Such a nice puzzle for my 2.5 year old. The wooden pieces are hard enough for her not to break/ tear them and she loves all the colours and pictures on them.

More than just a stacking toy. Ideal for a fantasy play castle or just practising in and out as the one cup has a door!
These spheres can open so you can hide little toys inside, creating more opportunity for play than merely using the patterns on the outside.
Love the size for little hands to push on and love that you can create many different patterns/pictures with these.
We hooked that ladder on a tree branch, and the kids really love playing on it.
These nesting dolls (bears!) are so cute, much larger than I thought, good for little hands too! Our kids will love them and will ensure many creative playful moments! Worth it!
