As an occupational therapist, I'm always drawn to toys that turn "dead time" the pram walk, the car seat wait, the few minutes before a feed  into an opportunity for gentle sensory engagement, and that's exactly what this stroller booklet offers. It's designed to be explored rather than played with in a structured way, which suits a young baby's developmental stage perfectly.

Each spread offers a different tactile experience soft fabric, crinkle pages, and varied textures,  which supports early sensory processing.

 Exposing a baby to a range of textures like this, in short, low-pressure bursts, helps their nervous system begin to organise and interpret touch input, which is foundational work long before it looks like "learning" in any obvious way.

The small mirror is one of my favourite features in toys like this. Babies are naturally drawn to faces, and a safe, baby-appropriate mirror gives them a chance to look, notice movement, and begin the very early stages of self-awareness and visual tracking,  following their own reflection as it shifts is genuinely engaging visual work for a young baby. Reaching toward the booklet, batting at the pages, or gripping the attachment loop also offers early opportunities to practise reach, grasp, and hand-eye coordination, all at baby's own pace.

Because it attaches securely to a pram or car seat, it also supports a baby's growing ability to self-direct their own attention during outings,  they can look, engage, or look away as they choose, which is a small but real step toward independent exploration.
