Little Dutch Activity Hangers - Safari Friends

Regular price R 559.00 ZAR

Small hands, big discoveries, the Little Dutch Activity Hangers in Safari Friends bring three cheerful companions along for the ride, wherever baby goes. Each of the three soft friends, a crocodile, a lion, and an elephant, comes with its own little loop, so they can clip onto a pram, car seat, cot, or play mat independently, giving a caregiver the flexibility to attach one, two, or all three at once.

Every friend has something a little different to offer: the crocodile comes with colourful sensory labels to explore, the lion has a baby-safe mirror tucked into his mane, and the elephant is finished with wonderfully large, textured ears for little fingers to feel. Between them, there's a lovely variety of textures, movement, and sensory detail to keep a baby curious and engaged, at home or on the move.

Made from soft, gentle materials in Little Dutch's warm safari tones, these hangers are built for real, everyday handling. A charming, versatile addition to a newborn's pram or car seat, and exactly the kind of considered, multi-sensory toy we love including in an OT-curated store.

What the OT Says:

As an occupational therapist, I like a set like this because it offers three genuinely different sensory experiences in one small, versatile collection and because each piece can be attached and used independently, it's easy to adapt to wherever baby is and what they seem drawn to that day.

The crocodile's colourful sensory labels are a lovely, simple way to support early tactile exploration babies are often just as fascinated by fabric tags and labels as they are by the toy itself, and this gives that natural curiosity somewhere purposeful to go.

The lion's baby-safe mirror is one of my favourite features across the Little Dutch range; babies are drawn to faces from very early on, and a safe mirror supports early visual tracking and the first stages of self-awareness.

The elephant's large, textured ears add yet another tactile layer, encouraging babies to reach, touch, and manipulate different surfaces.

Because each hanger attaches with its own loop, reaching for and grasping them also supports early hand-eye coordination and fine motor development, batting at a hanging toy, tracking it as it moves, and eventually gripping it are all valuable early motor milestones.

Being able to mix and match which friends are attached also means a caregiver can vary the sensory experience day to day, which helps keep a baby's interest fresh.

I'd happily recommend this set as an easy, adaptable addition to a pram, car seat, or play mat at home, or as a versatile sensory tool for paediatric OT use.
